Hi, I’m Alex.
I didn't come to this work through a book. I came through experience, and through a very specific kind of crash.
For years I led at the intersection of communications, data, and organizational strategy inside fast-moving, high-stakes environments. I was good at it. I understood systems, people, and how to move both. But I was running on the wrong fuel, performing rather than leading, pushing through rather than operating from clarity. The kind of unsustainable pace that looks like ambition from the outside and feels like survival from the inside.
When it broke, it broke completely. And that's where the real education began.
I'd spent years training in parallel: behavioural science, psychology, neuroscience, NLP, mindfulness, nervous system regulation. I had the knowledge. What I was missing was the integration. The crash forced it. And what came out the other side was a fundamentally different understanding of what high performance actually requires.
Not more discipline. Not better frameworks. A different relationship with how you think, how you lead, and how much your nervous system can hold before it starts making decisions for you.
Since 2018 I've been working inside the VC backed startup ecosystem.
Seed to IPO. Across industries, geographies, and leadership layers. With companies backed by some of the best investors in the world, Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, Lightspeed, and others. Founders navigating their first big round. CEOs scaling through hypergrowth. Executive teams trying to hold together under the weight of what they've built.
Thousands of hours in the room with the people at the top. Watching what breaks leadership teams and what builds them. Understanding the patterns that show up at every stage, in every sector, in every culture.
What I've learned is this: the external strategy is rarely the real problem. The real problem is almost always the gap between the demands of the role and the internal capacity of the people holding it. Strategic, cognitive, and nervous system capacity. All three. Together.
That's what I work on.
What makes this work different isn't a methodology.
It's a way of seeing.
I have an unusual ability to read the system underneath the system. To see the pattern in a leadership team before anyone has named it. To know where the real stuck point is, even when the presenting problem points somewhere else entirely.
That's not something I learned in a training. It's something I've developed through years of working at this level, shaped by my own journey through high performance environments, and refined through thousands of hours of work with founders and executives navigating the hardest moments of building something real.
I work with a small number of clients at a time. Not because of capacity, but because this work requires genuine depth of attention. The founders and executive teams I work with are not looking for another vendor or coach. They're looking for someone who can see clearly, tell the truth, and help them become the leaders their companies actually need.
If that's what you're looking for, let’s talk.
